Fadi Joseph Bejjani, MD, PhD is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation-Pain Management and holds a Master’s in Orthopedic Biomechanics and a Doctorate in Occupational Biomechanics and Ergonomics. He is a member of the American Academy of Pain Management. He authored numerous publications on Repetitive Strain Injuries and injuries to the Spine. He also pioneered a quantitative technique for the use of cineradiography to study neck whiplash and TMJ injuries. He had extensive training in Orthopedics and he is a member of both the American Academy of Orthopedic Medicine and of the International Spinal Intervention Society. He is certified by the latter to perform Spinal Injections and Discograms and by the former to perform Regenerative Injection Therapy (Prolotherapy). Dr Bejjani was elected one of the Top Physicians in America for 2003-2004-2005. He is the only physician in the Mohawk Valley certified in Manipulation under Anesthesia and the only one certified by the Board of Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery. He is also the only one performing Vertebroplasty [injecting cement into osteoporotic vertebral bodies that have sustained a compression fracture], Percutaneous Decompression Discectomy [minimally-invasive partial injured disc removal procedure] using the Dekompressor micro-aspirating-saw; Epidurolysis and Radiofrequency Lesioning of peripheral/ cranial nerves and sympathetic ganglions. |
