I Testify a Miracle Has Happened - Thanks to the Lord and Dr. B.!

    A little history first.  Forty years ago, while pregnant I experienced my first pain of sciatica, little did I know what this bout of uneasiness would lead to over the years.  As a registered nurse, I'm quite aware of the relentless discomfort (PAIN) that many of my charges had to endure simply because man got off all fours millennia's ago to get a good look around him.  No, you won't find this observation in your Bible, but it does make sense.

    My family physician, Dr. Haswell, referred me to neurosurgeon, Dr. Wahlig on July 18 of this year.  Dr. Wahlig then referred me to Dr. Bejjani.

    Dr. Bejjani (a.k.a. Dr. B.) is the kind of person that you immediately warm up to and reach a comfort zone faster than you can spell "cat".  Catching my Long Island/New Jersey accent, Dr. B. mentioned that he did stand-up comedy in West Orange, NJ.  What a coincidence, I went to Nursing School in East Orange, NJ!  He asked what surgeon did my back surgery in 1980 and I told him.  It turns out the surgeon was Dr. B's professor in medical school.  Since my first visit in Dr. B's office, many other coincidences have popped up.

    For two hours and a half, Dr. B. was with me one on one during the EMG on my back.  The results showed I had nerve impingement on both sides of my spine; therefore, giving me pain for almost 40 years.  On my last visit, Dr. injected cortisone under fluoroscopy.  I am pain free for the first time in many, many years.

    I truly believe the God has brought this man into my life.  I feel like I have been reborn.  I spent one evening trying to find the right passage in the Bible that would express my feelings for this miracle.  Dr. B is what they call a physiatrist that means his specialty is "pain control."  He has a plaque in his office that states he is one of the top doctors in America.  He is a many faceted man, this Dr. Bejjani.  So far, I have referred four people to him hoping they find relief as I have and with the comfort of my Lord Savior, Jesus Christ.
